MARCH 17TH:
1983: Mike Bossy records the 70th Hat Trick in Islanders history.
March 18th:
1995: Micheal Jordan comes out of retirement after 17 months. He would go on to 3-peat with the Bulls and hit the championship- winning shot in the 1998 finals before retiring once again.
1912: The Stanley Cup was created.
2014: Rangers goalie Henrik Lunquist passes Mike Richter on the Rangers all-time wins list with win #302.
MARCH 19th:
1991: Brett Hull becomes the 3rd player in NHL to score 80 goals in a season. Wayne Gretzky (1982 (92 goals) and 1984), and Mario Lemuix(1989) were the first two.
